For over 135 Years, the Coulson Building Group has provided a comprehensive range of building services to private and public sector clients, as well as to private individuals throughout East Anglia and beyond.
Coulson Building Group came to us with an existing website that they felt needed a revamp. Not only did it no longer match up with their brand anymore, but it also contained content that was out of date and incorrect.
Coulson wanted a fresh, new design to make it easy for private and public customers to see what they offered as well as tell them what their company was about.
We set out on designing a fresh look for Coulson Building Group, but made sure along the way that this would be accessible across all devices. No matter which device you use for the Coulson website, you will see exactly the same as what you'd find on a desktop.
Coulson Building Group already had a clear sitemap for us to use on the new website. We worked with the team to improve the existing content as well as add in some brand new content too.
When it came to the design, we chose to stick with Coulson's brand colors, using them continuously throughout the website to keep it consistent.
The design was to be clean and clear to read but also busy in the sense that there was always something new to look at. Plenty of animation was used on the homepage of the Coulson website to keep giving customers more as they scrolled down.
With a vast amount of projects being completed all of the time, Coulson needed a CMS where it would be easy to upload new projects and case studies on a regular basis. We created a CMS where it would be easy to do this.
The Coulson Building Group website was transformed from an out-of-date site to a website full of high-quality images, animation, and lots of relevant content. The website now has everything on it for customers to explore and find out when they need it.
Since designing the website, we have stayed in close contact with Coulson and regularly complete photoshoots of their most recent projects and case studies.
